Ian Main MAAT CA
Ian has a wide range of expertise to offer the firm's clients. A qualified chartered accountant Ian specialises in business advisory and IT services. He is responsible for the firm's IT infrastructure encompassing all training requirements. He has a well rounded background of experience gained from working with a 'blue chip' manufacturing company before transferring to public practice in 1998. Since then he has assisted numerous clients to derive maximum efficiency and return from their business and business ideas and been involved in a number of high impact advisory roles.
Ian also heads the Audit and Assurance services for Stark Main & Co, and working with his fellow directors in a like minded capacity is passionate about delivering the highest possible level of client care.
He lives in Selkirk, and in his free time he enjoys relaxing with his family and has a number of sporting pastimes, including having represented Scotland in Canoe Polo. He also provides voluntary support to young entrepreneurs through The Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust.
